Surprisingly, the Dolly Parton COVID-19 research fund was listed in the acknowledgments of the funding. She made the gift in honor of her longtime friend, Naji Abumrad, MD, professor of Surgery, to support research teams. As if it is not enough that her Imagination Library has already delivered 147,137,107 books, she continues to show why we will always love her.
