Holding Out for a Hero

NASHVILLE WHAT

Drive-Thru, Service

Throughout this pandemic, the Black and Latino communities in Nashville have been hit the hardest. That's why this Saturday, the Urban League of Middle Tennessee is hosting Meals & Masks.  There will be free hot meals and masks distributed, as well as census info and voter registration. You can sign up to volunteer here.

(VIRTUAL) EVENT WHAT

Almost Saturday Night, Live

It's back! The popular "Nashville Sunday Night" concert series at 3rd and Lindsley is back, now on TV! The first episode debuts this Sunday and is a great way to help small venues continue to feature hard working musicians and performers. Up first – Christone “KINGFISH” Ingram.

MAKER WHAT

One Short Day, In the Emerald City

Come with us on a (digital) journey to Seattle, through the eyes of Art Stone, owner of Honest Biscuits. He shares what he loves about his hometown and what he's looking forward to once life gets back to "normal." And while you're at it, don't forget to enter to win a Seattle Gift Set.

FOOD & DRINK WHAT

Mashups & Gravy

Mark your calendars for Sean Brock's stint at Arnold's (yes, you read that correctly). Tickets go on sale next week for the October 23rd weekend takeout packages. We're now wondering – what chef/restaurant mashups would you like to see? Reply to this email and hit us up with your wildest dreams.

BONUS WHAT

Holding Out for a Hero

Take the Small Business Pledge. By some estimates, nearly 100,000 small businesses have permanently closed this year. We're asking you to pledge to help support small businesses near you (and we'll even send you a free sticker).
