Nashville What

A Beautiful Day to Map the Neighborhood

#MyCityMap is a community activity organized by the Nashville Civic Design Center that works to take people’s experiences and perspectives and turn them into visual maps that can assist in planning the future of cities. Take a (socially-distanced) walk around your neighborhood then draw a map on paper of your neighborhood. Mark the things you like about your neighborhood (assets) as well as areas you would like to see improved or changed (opportunities). Once you have made a key that explains the different markings, upload your map at the NCDC website. Join the NCDC tomorrow from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM for an online conversation about neighborhood experiences.

Event What

B.I.N.G.O.

If you need another reason to get out on a walk, we suggest playing bingo on your next walk. We went ahead and created a neighborhood BINGO game that you can view here, then click “generate card.” Once you’ve made your unique card, you can print it out and then generate more unique cards for everyone in your family who wants to play.
