We moved because we're growing.

We had a busy May—national partnerships grew as did local relationships. We added nearly a dozen new purveyors to our lineup. We mailed gifts to 42 different states. We landed the fifth largest corporate order in the history of our company. We were busy, all without operating our full retail experience like we were used to. So, we're choosing to bet on what's working.
Last time I wrote to you all, we had decided not to continue our lease at the Farmers' Market. And even though we still tried to negotiate after that, just in the slight hope that might change, it ultimately didn't. And today, we moved everything out of our space inside the Market House.

Show Up to Show Love
From Your Father provides single parents in poverty with the resources they need to transform their families lives forever. The innovative program delivers needed resources to the door steps of families each month. This is coupled with required educational workshops and monthly outreach in the community for each family. On June 27th, they are hosting their “You Matter “ Outreach Event to show love to the black men in our community. There are many ways to be a part—volunteer, be a sponsor, or donate—and make a difference.

Head for the Mountains
We discovered Mountain Jim's Smokey Mountain Pecans last year and we have been telling everyone about them ever since. They taste like Cinnamon Toast Crunch but with no artificial flavors, no high fructose corn syrup, no colors or food dyes. Baked Goods
This Sunday, starting at noon, Lou Sur Place (1304 McGavock Pike) is hosting a socially-distanced bake sale on their patio. Nashville's very best bakers, chefs and treat makers are baking to benefit the local chapter of the ACLU racial justice program. All items are $5 each, and organizers will be taking only debit/credit cards as payment. Baked good buyer beware: Last year Lou did a similar bake sale, and they sold out within a couple hours
Nashville Ballet closed the doors to its Martin Center facility on March 11 and later canceled the remainder of its 2019-2020 performances due to the COVID-19 outbreak. But, as they say, the show must go on! So, the Ballet launched its Saturday Night with Nashville Ballet online series. Each week, they have shared performances from years past and new works created virtually during the pandemic. On June 13 at 5:00 p.m., the company will present its second offering of Digital Emergence, an online version of the Ballet’s regular spring Emergence performance.
